Marysville senior, Hannah Long, has signed her national letter of intent last week, during the NCAA early decision period. 
Long, signed with Campbell University to continue her academic career, and athletic career playing women’s basketball.
Hannah has been a starting varsity player for Marysville since her freshman year while maintaining “Scholar Athlete” status (she has a GPA of 3.52) and has been awarded the OCC Honorable Mention each year.
Marysville, Ohio is home for Hannah, however she has had the opportunity to play at a high level of competition in many states including Illinois, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia and even that place up north!
Despite the odds of Hannah earning a full-ride scholarship to a division one college, she kept her eye on the goal and reminds herself of something the great Michael Jordan once said, “Some people want it to happen, some people wish it would happen and others make it happen.”
